A Structural Equation Modeling of Academic Self-Concept Scale on Computational Thinking Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia Abstract This examination is proposed for approving the academic self-concept scale particularly in computational thinking among vocational secondary school students. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was exploited to approve two subscales including academic confidence, academic effort, and computational thinking. The examination was directed 80 students on males and females from first degrees of Introductory Programming Class. The impact of academic self-concept on students computational thinking was explored to determine whether the theorized model fitted the data and analysed the invariance of the path coefficients. The evaluation results uncovered that academic self-concept impacted computational thinking and the hypothesised model fitted the data. It was additionally noticed that academic confidence, academic effort, and computational thinking are a proportion of academic self-concept. As indicated by the results the self-concept scalee on computational thinking was regarded satisfactory in gathering data about academic self-concept among vocational secondary school students.
