Abstract

Nowadays, the industry revolves around the challenge that happens related to the environment. Due to the natural resources’ shortage, the new regulation should be applied in a company as a way to make the business survive. The need to increase competitiveness with a lower environmental impact pushes the industry to the paradigm known as Green Manufacturing. Implementation of green manufacturing in Indonesia has not been implemented widely especially in small industries. This research is aimed to evaluate the implementation of green manufacturing in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The aspects of evaluation that will be discussed in this research include the IPAL system and waste management indicator in the company. This research provides a deeper understanding of green manufacturing that can be beneficial for all parties concerned, especially for academics, researchers, and practitioners in the industrial world.
