Identification of Supporting Factors for Technology Components in SMEs in Facing Global Competition Department of Industrial Engineering, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut Abstract The existence of elements of technology components to support the sustainability of the companys operations is essential for the companys ability to participate in business competition, especially business people who are members of small and medium business groups that still have limited access to meet the growing technological demand and are required to operate. Their business activities. So it must be able to know the ability of small and medium business groups to meet the required technological component elements as well as the technological component elements that have not yet been fulfilled in carrying out their business operations. In this research, a mapping of technology component elements, both those that have been met and those that have not been fulfilled in the business environment of small and medium business groups. The approach used is the Importance Performance Analysis method by comparing the values obtained between expectations and reality desired by 100 respondents of small and medium-sized businesses that are carried out randomly, especially for businesses based on traditional food processing businesses. Based on the results of the identification of technological component elements in the business environment of small and medium-sized businesses, it was found that the technology component elements of the Technoware and Orgaware groups match the operational business needs. While the Infoware and Humanware element groups must get development in order to be able to support business sustainability in small and medium business groups.
