Abstract

Nowadays professional teachers are required to have good knowledge regarding content, pedagogy and technology. This paper is to determine the ability of technological pedagogical content knowledge of prospective mathematics teacher in conducting research in schools using qualitative descriptive methods. The subject involved five prospective mathematics teacher who were conducting research for a thesis at a Junior High School in Bandung, Indonesia. Instrument: questionnaire, observation and interview format. Data analysis; aspects of CoRe, learning implementation plan, implementation of learning, use of information technology-based learning media, learning evaluation, PaP-eRs. The results showed the ability of technological pedagogical content knowledge of prospective mathematics teacher in a well category. Students are already skilled at outlining big ideas. Prospective teachers able to using learning implementation plans and accordance with 2013 curriculum guidelines. Prospective teachers have not able to make PaP-eRs as a reflection material, and facilities constraints to support the implementation of learning using ICT.
