Quantitative And Qualitative Analysis To Map Potential Energy Needs In Garut (a) Department of Industrial Engineering, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut, Jl. Mayor Syamsu no 1 Garut, Indonesia 44151 Abstract Energy needs to grow along with the development of industry in an area. Garut is an area whose economy is growing from small and medium industries (UKM). The need for energy to meet the production of UKM is vital. For this reason, research is needed to determine the magnitude of energy needs in the industrial sector and its distribution mapped. In this study using quantitative and qualitative methods to map energy needs in adjacent cluster areas. Based on the results of the study the need for electrical energy and fuel is quite large, as evidenced by the final data from primary data processing in the form of a sample that has been cluster, the data needs for power consumption per/ business unit contained in the northern cluster 1 with an average number of 766.93 kwh / month of business units, north cluster 2 with an average of 2253.2 kwh / month per business unit, south cluster 1 with an average number of 524.7 kwh / month of business units, and south luster 2 with an average number of 4017 , 25 kwh / month business unit. The highest use of LPG fuel is found in northern cluster 1 with an average consumption of 7,526,316 liters/month, so it is recommended to concentrate the LPG agent mainly in the sub-district which is the parent of the cluster. The potential energy needed for the northern arrowroot cluster is 4,995 mmscfd, for the northern arrowroot cluster, two is 8,174 mmscfd, for the southern arrowroot cluster one is 0.704 mmscfd, for the southern arrowroot cluster two is 7,584 mmscfd. With this potential energy, arrowroot will become a developing area for small and medium industries. Keywords: energy, map, quantitative, qualitative Topic: Industry Engineering |
