Frequency Analysis of Mathematical Problem Answers through Jacobs Method Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia Abstract Evaluation is the process of determining the value of student learning success in one period. Evaluation functions to find out the results that have been achieved, whether they are in line with expectations, what factors are inhibiting and how to overcome these obstacles. The evaluation also functions to determine student learning progress, compare achievement with student capacity, and to interpret students level of maturity. The evaluation process is done through student scores on exam questions. The score obtained will illustrate the students true abilities. But sometimes there is an imbalance of scores on students due to obstacles, such as anxiety, carelessness, or poor health conditions. Based on these assumptions it is necessary to conduct a study regarding the acquisition of student scores. The purpose of this study was to determine the reasonableness of mathematical scores through the analysis of the frequency of the answer questions. The research data were analyzed using the Jacob method. This research is using experimental method. The results of data analysis show that there are students who have unnatural scores. Thus it can be concluded that through the analysis of the frequency of the answer the questions can be seen the fairness of student scores. Keywords: mathematical score, Jacobs method, correct frequency of answers. Topic: Mathematics |
