Abstract
Abstract. Sports Center is one of many types of public spaces, a place where people could do sports activities as part of a healthy lifestyle in some urban areas. One of the Sports Center in Bandung is the main object research in this study. The Sports Centre has various facilities such as wall climbs, velodromes, running tracks, and basketball courts. Some of its facilities are arguably inadequate because some facilities are not well maintained or less comfortable. Other than that, the public facilities provided are too ordinary and not well-supported visitor activities. Though these supporting facilities will be very useful for visitors because it will greatly assist their activities while in the Sports Center, especially ready-to-drink water facilities or commonly referred to as drinking fountains. This design is carried out to meet visitors’ water needs and give a comfortable feel for users while using it. The design of the drinking fountain uses the SCAMPER method that is supported by the qualitative method as a data collection and analysis technique. Based on the problems used in this thesis it can be concluded drinking fountain must have dimensions that match with Indonesian people so the product becomes more ergonomic and the drinking fountain must have few features such as bottle refills and two fountains each for children and adult.
