Abstract
Electrohydraulic block paving molding machine for mass production, needs good control so that the product matches the quality and quantity specified. In this research, an machine control system is produced using electrohydraulics with main hydraulic components: Piston and solenoid valve for press and dies, hydraulic pumps and accesories. The main electrical components: electric motors, three relays, contactors, MCB, three timers (two for piston press and piston dies waiting time) one for compaction time, four limit switches for limiting piston press and dies movement up-down.
The results of the design of the control system, tested with a hydraulic step diagram to show the compact and speed of movement. With the mechanism of movement: piston dies down, material is poured into dies, piston presses down pressing, waiting time for compaction of the piston to keep pressing, dies up, followed by press up, press time sufficient, dies down and so on cycle repeatedly . The density and speed settings can be set at the limit switch and timer.
