Abstract
This research was to analyse the comparation of NOAA-11/AVHRR LST Algorithm and MODIS LST data. The LST Algorithm of AVHRR/NOAA developed by Rustana [1] using split window method of thermal infrared channel 4 and 5 which was validated using Australian LST ground measurement. The algorithm will be applied to the MODIS thermal infrared of channel 31 and 32 data in order to determine LST. This LST measurement will be comparatively analysed with direct LST measurement of MODIS using Python and Origin Pro Software. The result indicated that the LST algorithm measurement of first and second order were linearly best fit with the LST measurement of MODIS data using Python and Origin Pro Software with an accuracy of about 1.5 0C. It can be concluded that the developed LST Algorithm of AVHRR/NOAA can be applied to measure LST in Indonesia.
