Abstract
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is widely used to scan the presence of something at a location. RFID is a device that uses radio signals to identify objects. Such RFID characteristics enable this technology to be used on employee cards connected to a computer-based presence system at a college. A college has employees that are divided into several organizational units, the use of manual presence is felt to be inefficient because it is expected that an RFID-based presence system can solve this problem. The RFID presence system development uses the Rational Unfied Process methodology and the modeling used is the Unified Modeling Language. The presence system that is made includes employee data register menu, employee attendance, present delay identification, time management, monthly attendance recapitulation of each employee, and attendance recapitulation of all employees.
