Optimization food-ingredients for coronary heart disease using Variable Neighborhood Search

Abstract

Heart disease is a disease that occurs due to blocked arteries, due to excessive food consumption. In regulating the diet for heart disease sufferers, it is necessary to have a heart diet, to compose heart food diets to be difficult because it is different from other diets, where in the heart diet the amount of protein and fat needs to be reduced. At the same time the cost of food composition for the heart diet is low for the economy. These problems can be done using Variable Neighborhood Search, where Variable Neighborhood Search is able to provide better fitness value solutions. Variable Neighborhood Search has 3 stages, in solving this problem starting from the random representation of solutions, shaking, local search. The results of using the Variable Neighborhood Search method are able to provide food composition recommendations for patients with heart disease with a more varied food composition and a predetermined minimum price
