Gender Differences in investment biases Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Abstract This study aims to analyze gender differences in investment bias. The investment biases analyzed consists of overconfidence and herding. Data were collected using a questionnaire from 65 individual investors . Independent t-test samples are used to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that both female and male investors had high levels of overconfidence and herding. The high investment bias is due to the lack of experience and limited knowledge in investing. The results show that female and male investors do not have significant differences in overconfidence and herding.
