Abstract

This study aims to determine the map of the development of supply chain management research in the retail industry. The study was carried out in July 2020 by searching through the Scopus database with keywords in retail and supply chain management. The data from the search results are then analyzed descriptively based on the year of publication, the name of the institution and the country that published the results of research on the development of research on the use of supply chain management in the retail industry, the name of the journal / publication, the type of document, and the research topic. To obtain a research development map, the data is exported in a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file format. The exported data is then processed and analyzed using the VOSViewer application program to determine the bibliometric map of the development of research on the use of institutional repositories towards open access. The results showed that supply chain management in the retail industry indexed in Scopus has existed since 1985. From 2001-2019 its development has increased significantly. The most published journals on supply chain management developments in the retail industry are Springer, Elsevier, and Emerald. Judging from the type / type of document that is widely researched is in the form of articles followed by conference papers, reviews and book chapters. Through the network visualization, it shows that the relationship between the topics is shown by the line between the descriptors in each field. The more lines between relations between decryptors the closer relations between documents. Meanwhile, the visualization of density shows that the relationship between the topics is getting tighter, the redder is and the greener is the rarer.
