THE EFFECT OF EXPERIMENTAL LEARNING METHODS ON THE SCIENCE PROCESS OF EARLY CHILDREN IN THE ERA OF COVID-19 IN TK DARURAHMA MAJALAYA YEAR 2019/2020 IKIP SILIWANGI Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine a effect of experimental learning methods on early childhood science process skills. This research is a Pre-experimental design using one group pre-test & post-test design. This data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of the study were 12 children, consisting of 7 boys and 5 girls aged 5 years. The initial observation score of childrens science process skills prior to the experiment with the experimental method was 232 with an average of 19.33, the highest score of 22, the lowest value of 16 and SD = 2.31. Final observation scores of early childhood science process skills after the experiment with the experimental method amounted to 313 with an average of 26.08, the highest value of 30, the lowest value of 20 and SD = 3.31. Based on these data, tcount = 10.16 ≤ ttable = 1.79 tcount can be known through the analysis of SPSS 22 for windows and ttable can be seen through the table of critical distribution values of t with df or db = 11 and α = 0.5. Then it can be concluded that there is an influence of the experimental method on early childhood science process skills in TK DARURAHMA Majalaya Academic Year 2019/2020.
