Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the instrument of communication skills test students of science subjects in Newton^s Law material. The method used in this research is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the analysis technique used in this research is information about validity, reliability, differentiation, and difficulty test. Based on the analysis results that have been obtained that the 15 questions that have been used on average are declared valid with a validity coefficient value between 0.0217 to 0.6052 even though there are 4 questions that have low validity. While for the reliability of the test results obtained that the questions used have a very high reliability that is, 1,2 3 when compared with r product moment table at 5% level of 0.44 it can be concluded that the questions tested can be used as a data collector. Based on the results of the analysis of distinguishing power, there are 8 very good category questions, 4 good category questions, 1 enough category questions and 2 very low category questions. While the level of difficulty of the test based on the analysis obtained shows that there are 7 medium category questions and 8 easy category questions
