Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the dominant multiple intelligence of a student and his multi-representation ability. This relationship will then be used by the teacher to accommodate the multiple intelligences by using appropriate representations so that learning will be more effective. The concept that will be used in this research is wave. The research method used is descriptive correlation research method. The study was conducted by finding the relationship between two variables based on data and analysing the relationship to draw conclusions. This research was conducted on 146 high school students online. Based on the test results, it is evident that students have diverse dominant intelligence. It was also found that interpersonal intelligence is the most common intelligence found from the sample of students taken. The concept understanding test with multi representation shows an average value of 32.37, which is included in the very low category. This also shows that the ability of multi representation of students is still very low. So that research needs to be done about the relationship between multiple intelligences and multi representations to improve effectiveness in learning and understanding student^s- physical concepts, especially in wave concept.
