Analysis of the effectiveness of learning mathematics using Project Based Learning Models in Junior High School Bina Satria T.P 2016/2017

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to answer the questions in this study How is the effectiveness of Learning using the Project Based Learning Model in Bina Satria T.P 2016/2017 Middle School Students.The method used is a quantitative descriptive method. The instruments used were tests, observations and questionnaires. In the initial test results obtained an average of 54.00. While the final test obtained an average student learning outcomes of 83.7 with 29 students who completed and 5 students who did not complete. In terms of the percentage of students^ activities getting 77.75% and being in the category of Not Effective in their learning activities, in terms of the ability of the teacher in managing learning to get a percentage of 87.5% and being in the category of Effective in managing learning, in terms of the responses of students getting a percentage amounted to 84.7% and was in the category of Not Effective in responding to learning in the classroom. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that mathematics learning is carried out using the Project Based Learning model on effective Circle material in grade VIII-1 students of SMP Bina Satria T.P 2016/2017.
