Abstract

This study aimed to describe the students^ ocean literacy profile in maritime vocational high school. This research used a descriptive quantitative methods with research subjects are 11th grade students of maritime vocational high school in Cipatujah, district of Tasikmalaya. The data collection used was an ocean literacy test adapted from the International Ocean Literacy Survey (IOLS) developed by Fauville et al. (2018). The International Ocean Literacy Survey (IOLS) contains 7 principles of ocean literacy and is a measuring tool for comparing the level of ocean knowledge. The result showed that the students^ ocean literacy in maritime vocational high school in Cipatujah, district of Tasikmalaya was in the low category with a percentage of 58%.
