Dietary Pattern and Its Relationship with Hemoglobin and Blood Glucose Level in Dragon Boat Athletes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between dietary patterns with hemoglobin and blood glucose level in dragon boat athletes. 20 dragon boat athletes were interviewed to complete a 24-hour food dietary recall and their hemoglobin and blood sugar levels were measured. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between dietary intake and hemoglobin and blood sugar levels. Hemoglobin and blood sugar levels are affected by the food intake consumed by dragon boat athletes.
