Abstract

Corona Virus-19, which has spread throughout the world, has caused confusion in managing education, including implementing Physical and Sports Education. This paper aims to capture junior high school students^ perceptions of the importance of sports and physical education in this pandemic. The authors distributed questionnaires to grade 9 students of a junior high school in North Jakarta. Students seem to tend to obey the teacher^s instructions in carrying out lessons, including sports and physical education. This paper explains that Physical and Sports Education is felt to be more difficult during this pandemic because of differences in location with friends and teachers. Creation is needed to carry out this lesson. Students also claim to be burdened with many tasks and do not recommend carrying out sports education with teachers. Students propose to make sports education as part of a project (and carried out with other subjects collaboration).
