Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the peer teaching model on learning outcomes of hockey skills. The method used in this research is the experimental method with the design of The Static Pretest-Posttest Design and a population of 30 students. Based on the results of the analysis, there is a significant effect of the peer teaching model on improving the learning outcomes of hockey skills, and the peer teaching model is significantly more influential than the conventional model on improving hockey skills learning outcomes. This is because in the peer teaching model students learn actively, and their learning motivation increases. With high learning motivation, students have the urge to master the skills taught by their friends, so that the learning process becomes more effective.
