General Linear Model Analysis (GLM) to Assess Changes In Self-Efficacy Scores In Using the STEM Method on Athletic Learning Faculty of Sports and Health Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Abstract This study discusses how the GLM analysis assesses changes in the Self-Efficacy score among the STEM method group using the Quasi-experimental method. The sample in this study amounted to 40 students of class VIII in Junior High School, 20 students for the experimental group and 20 students for control who met the inclusion criteria. The two groups were selected using random sampling. To find out the Self_Efficacy score in the two groups, measurements were taken 3 times. The results showed that there was a difference in the Self Efficacy score between the levels of observation time between the Pre Test and the middle test (p-value <0.005) and the middle test and post-test (p-value = 0.030), there was a difference in the average self-efficacy score between the method groups. STEM and conventional (p-value 0.004) and STEM methods are better at increasing self-efficacy (experimental) scores than conventional methods (control). Increasing Self-Efficacy in students is important because it is important that students have the ability to overcome difficulties in various conditions.
