Abstract

Abstract.Various factors that cause fatigue in athletes including the increase of lactic acid in the muscles. According to the motion pattern of softball athletes source of energy derived from the anaerob laktasid metabolism. Therefore it is necessary to understand the process of decrease and elimination of lactic acid in the muscles which then reflected a decrease of lactic acid in the blood. In this study to determine the after exercise recovery time of lactic acid softball athlete bloods lactic acid level in 0 minutes 5 minutes at the 10 minute and in the 20 minutes of softball practice is measured. Lactic acid levels softball athletes are measured by Accutrend Lactacid. The method used in this research is a method of experiments while the technique of taking the study subjects is at random from the population affordable softball athletes in the Student Activity Unit and from there obtained sample of 12 athletes. The research data were analyzed by paired t-test scores in the One -Shot Case Study research design to determine differences in blood lactic acid levels in 20 minutes compared with the levels of lactic acid in the resting state. Results showed found lactic acid levels returned to normal 2.79 mMol/L levels in rest periods at 20 minute. The conclusion from this study is the lactic acid levels in softball athletes increased after start of exercise then decreased after 5 minutes and back to normal levels in 20 minutes.
