IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW HABIT ADAPTATION POLICIES IN MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF LECTURERS AND EDUCATIONAL STAFF IN UPI Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Abstract In this new habit period, there need to be policies that are effective and efficient in maintaining and improving the performance of lecturers and educational staff so that the dynamics of the process are expected to run properly. This study aims to analyse the results of the implementation of policies implemented in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) during the new habit period (new normal) after the Covid-19 pandemic or the coronavirus outbreak, especially in maintaining and improving the performance of lecturers and educational staff. The policy in question is a policy that covers all the dynamics of the processes that occur in the UPI environment which are issued by the leadership and run by lecturers and educational staff. Therefore, researchers are interested in analysing the implementation of policies applied to the current new habit. The research method used is a case study that focuses at UPI and uses a qualitative approach. The data collection instrument used was three methods, namely interviews, observation, and documentation study. The subjects of this research are, lecturers and educational staff, and of course the leaders at UPI. The results of this study found that there are several policies implemented by the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia which are evidence that UPI has implemented policies related to the adaptation of new habits. The conclusion is that the policy during the new habit period can maintain the performance of lecturers and education staff in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
