Abstract
This study was made to measure all levels of media optimization on the learning motivation of students in Gambar Teknik lesson at SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang when the Covid-19 outbreak had spread around the world. The population in this study were students of class X DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang with a total of 108 students with a random sampling technique taken in this study as many as 52 students with the Taro Yamane calculation formula.
Based on the results of data processing, the social media optimization level of the sample is classified as very good with the average result of the social media optimization indicator variable of 3.1 with a proportion of 76.15% into the very good category and in the descriptive data processing results the level of learning motivation from The sample is classified as very high with an average report card for the social media optimization variable indicator of 3.2 with the proportion of 81.1% in the very good category. From the results of the simple linear regression test, the result of t count is 1.876 while for r table with n = 52, the value of df = n-2 with a degree of confidence of 5% is 2.009. Dis that tcount> ttable so it is rejected is rejected, therefore Social Media Optimization (X) does not affect Learning Motivation (Y).
However, in the Pearson trial a value of 0.256 is in the coefficient interval between 0.20-0.39 which means it has a low relationship. Then because of the Sig. (2-tailed) the results of the above calculation are 0.066 where the value is greater than 0.05, it can be said that the strength and direction of the relationship (relationship) between variables is not significant. In addition, the coefficient of determination of 6.5% is in the low influence category.
