Abstract

The importance of increasing competences of vocational lecturers has not been fully realized by lecturers and leaders of vocational colleges. Lecturer competencies cover three fields which are often called the Tridharma (Three services) of Higher Education. The first service is education and teaching, the second service is research and the third is community service, and lecturers are also still required to have supporting activities to perfect these three activities. Professional lecturers shall possess social, personal and pedagogical competences.. Pedagogic competence is the ability of lecturers to plan, implement and evaluate learning. The study program of vocation, in the implementation of learning process has its own specific characteristic. In this case implementation of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework in vocation of basic training is an important thing as an effort to develop sustainable competencies for vocational lecturers.
