DEVELOPMENT OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN PRINCIPLE OF AUTISM STUDENT’S CLASSROOM AT INCLUSION SCHOOL Department of Architectural Engineering Education, Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Indonesia University of Education Abstract Architecture as a science for creating an environment is responsible to provide an inclusive facility for all types of users, which will encourage users to carry out the activities expected. Individuals with autism are often subject to stigma, discrimination and human right violations. In general, access to services and support for individuals with autism is inadequate. A good learning environment can help autism live independently in society. Apart from many architectural design guidelines, there hasnt been much developed guidelines that can accommodate the needs of autism in education. This study aims to correct these exceptions, to develop classroom design guidelines that can accommodate the needs of autism, Use literature review and perceptively the first people to deal with autism, deep interview, observations and documentation. As a result, architectural design principles can be used as design guidelines.
