THE ANALYSIS OF HOTEL LINENS CLEANING STANDARD IN HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT

Abstract

This Research was conducted because of the needs for Performance Assesment of Hotels Linen Cleaning Standard in Housekeeping Department, so the students performance assessment of competence can be objectively measured. The purpose of this research is to analyze the Hotels Linen Cleaning Performance Assessment in Housekeeping Departement by the stakeholders, whether it is from the SMK or the Hotel Industry.
This Research is using Analytic Descriptive Method with choosing research respondent comprised of SMK Teacher of Hotel Accommodation as the mentor for students field work in the hotel and Instructors from the Hotel as collaborative partner of the related SMK. The research result shows that: (1) The Performance Assessment of Hotels Linen Cleaning is developed according to Standard Operation Procedure of the Hotel that covers the stage of preparing, processing and result stage, (2) The result of the Expert Judgment Performance Assessment of Hotels Linen Cleaning shows a very worthy criteria result, so it can be used by teachers and hotel instructors to assess their students when conducting hotels linen cleaning in Housekeeping Department.
