Abstract

This study describes the development of the learning module Wearable Computing for IoT conducted in class XI of Industrial Electronics Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi whose attention is for the development of learning modules Project Based Learning (PjBL) with ADDIE models, responses of subject teachers and students to this module. The study involved subject teachers, four students for limited trials, and 32 students to provide responses to the module. The method for analyzing student questionnaire response data uses Mann Whitneys U Test and Kruskal-Wallis to compare student responses to several categories. The study produced a learning module Wearable Computing for IoT, a module whose contents were sufficiently detailed and reliable according to the subject teacher, and 94% (n = 32) students believed that this module could be used in class, and limited trials resulted in experiments that were in accordance with the objectives in the module. Therefore to maximize the use of learning modules Wearable Computing for IoT in the classroom students need to increase creativity in the development of each experiment and subject teachers can use the module as a source of learning while continuing to develop.
