Abstract
Peddlers is one of the independent traders which is commonly found in Indonesia. Usually, a peddlers not associated with economic entities or business groups. Because it is independent, the activities carried out by a peddlers from production, managerial until marketing sections are carried out independently, which causes the trading activities by a peddlers are not going to be optimal. To optimize the performance of a peddlers, it is necessary to establish a business group system with the function of accommodating and assist a peddlers in terms of product marketing which also includes digital technology-based financial managerial. A form of development is to create an android-based mobile merchant monitoring application using a smartphone.devices. Android-based smartphone get used because most people own these devices, capability for using GPS, and an integrated android-based application services provider such as Google Play. The method used for designing this application is the Waterfall Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a sequence of activities in the form of analysis needed, literature study, application planning, modeling and design, algorithm construction, testing and program analysis. Applications that have been successfully developed have a variety of features such as displaying a real-time the peddlers location, directions for the peddlers to the location of customers who already ordered from the application, chatting features for a peddlers and customers, a list of product that can be ordered by customers, and selection of payment systems by customers.
