Abstract

This paper maps out different perspectives on environmental literacy and brings together the latest thinking in this field. The main purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which environmental literacy is applied in classroom learning. This Systematic Review uses publications from journals to highlight the focus of this research area. The method used in this study is a systematic review. The results of this study indicate that environmental literacy in elementary schools has several indicators that can be developed.
