Numerical Simulation for Floater Design on the 17 Passengers Capacity of N219 Amphibian in Static and Dynamic Condition Agency of Assessment and Technology Application (BPPT) Abstract The Sea Toll allows the formation of marine tourism transportation, such as a floatplane to be developed in the Indonesian Archipelago Region. This research develops a floater design for a floatplane with a capacity of 17 passengers of N219 Amphibian. Design configurations were coded by LPDP-01 to LPDP-09. The final result of numerical simulation shows that the best design was the Floater LPDP-09x0 with a length of 9.8 meters in the static condition. The characteristics of the floater have small resistance, relatively stable movement, and included in the safe category. The dynamic condition is presented by the Computational Fluid Dynamic simulation for the low speed movement of the amphibian aircraft during takeoff phase.
