Development of Animated Video-Based Learning Media on Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solution Material for Senior High School Students Departemen Pendidikan Kimia, Universitas Negeri Medan, Jl. Willem Iskandar Pasar. V, Medan 20221, Indonesia Abstract This study aims to develop an animated video-based learning media on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material for senior high school students. This study is a development research that used the ADDIE approach. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, and students class X of SMAN 1 Tanah Jambo Aye as many 26 students as respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive quantitative. The result shown that the animated video based-learning media validation of the material aspects carried out by two experts obtained an average score of 3.77 with a percentage of 94.31% is very feasible. validation of media aspects carried out by media experts obtained an average score of 3.7 with a percentage of 92.5% is very fesible.The result of the percentage of practicality of animated video-based learning media is 93.46% with the category is very practical. Therefore, animated video-based learning media are declared valid and practical to use in the classroom. Further research is needed to investigate the effect of media use in the classroom and the correlation between motivation and learning outcomes.
