Student Worksheet Analysis Practicum the role of soil for the survival of living things based on the Vee Diagram Biology Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences Education, Indonesia University of Education Abstract Currently the world has entered the industrial revolution 4.0 which is a challenge for the Indonesian people. Especially in the education sector to continue to improve the quality to be even better. Practicum is one way to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the problems of the LKS practicum on the role of soil for the survival of living things in junior high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study and the subject of this research is the practical worksheets on the role of soil for the survival of living things. The sampling technique used was total sampling, the sample consisted of 10 worksheets in the 2013 curriculum. The instruments used included conceptual analysis instruments, knowledge construction analysis based on Vee diagrams, practical analysis, and competency analysis. The findings show that the practical worksheets on the role of soil for the survival of living things still have several problems in these aspects. Problems in the conceptual aspect, namely: the lack of relevance of the LKS to KD and the lack of relevance of the content contained in the worksheets with KD. In the practical aspect there are problems such as: instructions on tools and materials that do not have clear units, work procedures on worksheets that still cause errors, and data recording tables that appear are not easy to interpret. In the aspect of knowledge construction, there are several problems such as: the object / event does not match the focus question and notes / transformation does not match the main activity.
