Remediate High School Students^ Misconceptions Regarding The Runs Out Battery Concept Using AS-CBRText Master Program in Physics Education, Sekolah Pascasarjana UPI, Bandung, Indonesia Abstract Misconceptions is one of the classic problems faced in learning physics in senior high schools. This research was conducted to test the use of analogy supported computer based reputational text (AS-CBRText) in remedial teaching physics to obtain depiction about its effectiveness in remediating high school students^ misconceptions regarding the concept of runs out batteries. AS-CBRText is written in computer format and analogy used to support text in the form of dynamic analogies packaged in a video analogy. The method used in this study was pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 40 students from one high school in Riau Province. The data collection instrument used in this research was the conception diagnostic test in a four tier test format related to the concept of runs out battery. The results showed that the use of AS-CBRText could be remediate misconceptions of more than 70% of high school students related to the concept oh runs out battery. These results indicate that the use of AS-CBRText has a high effectiveness in facilitating the change of conception of high school students from a state of misconception to a scientific conception regarding the runs out battery concept.
