Abstract

Mathematical literacy is one of the important skills in learning in the 21st century. This is because mathematical literacy skills can support the successful mastery of learning concepts. One of the lessons that can facilitate mathematical literacy skills properly is the concept attainment model. Because this model can provide opportunities for students to construct knowledge independently. In addition, this model requires students to think critically and creatively. In addition to the concept attainment model, learning media that are up to date and very contextual with students are needed. So that android games are modified into one of the objectives of this study, namely to determine the increase in mathematical literacy of elementary school students using the concept model attainment with android games. In this study using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The results showed that the model concept attainment with android games could significantly improve elementary students^ mathematical literacy. This can be seen from the results of the gain score which is in the high category with a value of 0.87. The concept attainment model provides the opportunity for students to analyze mathematical concepts in depth through a thought process, then prove the results of the analysis through android games. These activities have a very significant impact on students^ mastery of mathematical concepts and make students learn meaningfully.
