THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA BASED MARKERLESS AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) IN CELL ORGANELLE SUB CONCEPT

Abstract

This research describe about the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology on the learning of biology in particular cell organelles sub concept. The review of the problems in the process of learning biology is becoming a reference in the development of media-based markerless augmented reality. This study aims to develop a concept with using interactive learning media based markerless augmented reality on cell organelles sub concept. In addition to forming deeper understanding of cell organelles sub concept than before. Stage of the research process involves the validation process and trial limited basis of media. The research method is the method of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). On the media-based markerless augmented reality is consist of three main parts: a Database of media, camera, database processing device. Media development involves several processing application visually both 2 and 3 dimensions. Data collection was performed by the questionnaire method on the student directly and online. Validation testing is conducted with three validator, and test the legibility of student with 15 respondents. The result of the research show that interactive learning media based markerless augmented reality get the valid category with a score of high category based on the validation test, with rCount is 0,89. The test of legibility show the worth result, with the percentage of representation is 88,19%. The conclusion obtained show that the learning media based markerless augmented reality on cell organelles sub concept is Valid and feasible to use as one of the learning source by student in learning process.
