Dr. Setia Budhi No. 229, Bandung 40154, Indonesia Abstract Develop students attitudes to participate in science learning activities is challenging during the Covid-19 Pandemic. However, learning science by involving socio-scientific issue are expected to develop student attitudes. This study aimed to investigate the effect of socio-scientific issue-based learning (SSI-BL) on students attitudes toward science in learning energy resource topics. The method used is pre-experimental with one group of pre-test and post-test design. The questionnaire was used to investigate students attitudes toward science. The participants are a seventh-grade student that chosen by convenience sampling technique from a junior high school in Bandung, Indonesia. The result of this study was student attitude toward science is improve by using SSI-BL. Thus, SSI-BL could be considered a learning approach to improve students attitudes toward science during online learning.
