Application of Orbits Mode Data Fitting for Dipstick Calibration a) Departement of Mathematics, Diponegoro University Abstract This article discusses the application of the Orbits Mode Data Fitting for dipstick calibration, the dipstick is a measuring tool for the level of fuel oil in the underground tank which is then converted into volume in the underground tank. This research was conducted at the General Fuel Filling Station 45.507.21 Candirejo Tuntang using data from the local metrology agency which legal the conversion of height to volume of liquid in the tank. This study also discusses the simplicity of the Orbits Mode Data Fitting algorithm in approaching data with a semicircular or half elliptical distribution. The results of this reserach, analyzed the sensitivity to the thickness and number of points used for fitting data as a form of calculation simplicity test, using Orbits Mode Data Fitting does not have to use all existing data to obtain fitting data results that have small errors.
