Analysis of Readiness of Junior High School Teachers in Facing Minimal Competency Assessment

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the readiness of teachers in facing the Minimum Competency Assessment. The research was conducted using a survey method by distributing questionnaires via google form. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research group of teachers stated that 67,5 % teachers were ready to face the Minimum Competency Assessment and 32,5 % teachers were not ready to face the Minimum Competency Assessment. Minimum Competency Assessment is carried out to evaluate students^ literacy and numeracy competencies so as to improve the quality of Indonesian education.
