Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of video-based training strategies on improvement quality of football referees. This study used an experimental method involving 40 referees who were divided into experimental and control groups. The results show that the application of video-based training strategies can improve the quality of referees. Referees are able to analyze various errors regarding the decisions and movements made each time they officiate a football match. This implies that variations in the training process using video technology are required improve the quality of football referees.
