Abstract

The subject matter of strategy and design of biology learning is that students find it difficult to understand and apply lecture material because there is no manual available according to the demands of the curriculum. Lecture teaching materials that support the new normal situation due to Covid-19 to help students learn during the period are not yet available, students also use reading sources obtained from the internet in the form of posts on a blog that is not yet clear. So it is necessary to develop a project-based interactive digital book so that it can be used in independent and group learning situations and offline and during conditions. This study aims to determine the validity of the interactive digital book based on the biology learning strategy and design course project. This is development research, which was developed using four D models which are limited to the development stage, namely validity. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire and processed by descriptive analysis. The validity results were obtained by an average of 87.07%. It is concluded that the project-based interactive digital book on the subject of biology learning strategy and design has been valid.
