Graph Mathematics for Analysis and Simulation of Mathematical Models on Social Media Addiction Problems as Covid-19 Impact a)Department of Mathematics, Universitas Negeri Makassar Abstract The aims of this study are to build a SIRS model in cases of social media addiction- analyse the model and perform model simulations to predict the level of social media addiction. This research is a theoretical and applied. The SIRS model analysis for Social Media addiction using mathematical graphs, while the simulation model using Matlab. The population of this study was 502 active students majoring in mathematics at UNM, with a sample of 145 students obtained using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The result of this research are the SIRS mathematical model of Social Media addiction which is a system of differential equations and the model analysis provides an addiction-free equilibrium point and a stable endemic equilibrium point. The results also found the value of the basic reproduction number (R_0=3.6342), which indicates that the level of social media addiction is at an alarming stage, because a student who is addicted to social media causes 4 other students to become addicted.
