DEVELOPMENT OF ADOBE FLASH-BASED MEDIA TO DESIGN AN ONLINE LEARNING

Abstract

Independent Campus is the new policy proposed by the Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia which has been conducting in Indonesian universities. The program provides freedom for students to decide their courses with possibilities taking courses from different study program, and even different university. Various activities that could prepare students for their future career are also provided through this program.

Adoba Flash-based media is developed in this research to help Lectures in designing their curriculum for Independent Campus program. The media comprises features to guide lecturers in designing coherent curriculum instantly. The results of this research is expected to help the lecturers to independently capable in designing their own teaching and learning activity.

The 4D Development model is used in this research. There are three stages of 4D model used: define, design and develop. Questionnaires with likert^s scales are used to get users^ perspectives on the use of the media.
