Abstract

In the sphere of education, technological advancements are incredibly meaningful. Pandemic conditions caused by Covid-19 tend to shift the learning system to online learning and in able to preserve students from becoming passive during this learning, their participation is needed. WBIL (Web-Based Inquiry Learning) is an online platform that allows students to actively participate doing investigation through internet-based. The purpose of this research is to investigate the students^ concept mastery by the implementation of WBIL. There are 29 students in grade 8th from one private school in Bandung Barat chosen using convenience sampling and use Cambridge curriculum. The method used is pre-experimental with pre-posttest design. The data was analyzed using paired t-test, the data is normally distributed, homogenous (0.156 > 0.5) and H0 is rejected (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, the results shows there is significance difference after the implementations. Each level cognitive has been analyzed and the C3 levels gain the highest category, meanwhile the rest is on the medium category. Further analysis is using N-gain and the score is 0.52 which is interpreted as medium.
