The Influence of Teacher^s Competence on Students^ Higher Order Thinking Skill Ability Mathematics Education, Abstract This paper is the result of research that aims to determine the influence of teacher competence (pedagogic, personality, social, and professional) on students^ higher order thinking skills ability. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational method. The sample of this study was a secondary school mathematics teacher in Cimahi. The research data was obtained by using a questionnaire in the form of a semantic differential scale. Data analysis was performed using path analysis. The results of the study show that three of four teacher competence have a significant influence on students^ higher order thinking skills ability.
