Development of STEM-Based Teaching Materials of Statistical to Improve Students^ Mathematical Literacy

Abstract

This study aims to test the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of STEM-based teaching materials developed of Statistics material in SMK Pariwisata PHT Cianjur. The research design used is Research & Development which is simplified into two stages, namely the preliminary stage and the development stage. The teaching materials developed have a very high level of validity, for the content suitability aspect it reaches a score of 83.38% while 82.14% for the linguistic aspect and 82, 40% for the graphic. The teaching materials developed are effectively used by students of class XII because students are able to reach level 5 by fulfilling all indicators mathematical literasy, so that they can improve mathematical literacy skills.
