Self-Paced Instruction in Education: A Systematic Literature Review Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Abstract After the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, the education world trying its best to recover. Some education system lower their standard to bridging the learning gap caused by this pandemic. Self-paced learning emerged as one method of teaching that can keep up with students pace. The aim of this study is to examine existing evidences on how impacftul self-paced learning implemented in recent decade (2012-2022). For this, a systematic review is proposed through the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method in three multidisciplinary databases, through an comprehensive look with strict criteria on quantitative experimental studies. Using this method, 342 papers were selected from web of science, scopus, and google scholar search. After thorough further selection using criteria concerning the research question, 35 papers were selected.
