ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE NEED FOR EMPLOYEE HOUSING

Abstract

Housing is one of the basic needs or basic needs in addition to education and health. The development of housing in Indonesia continues to increase in line with population growth which has an impact on the need for housing. The existence of development in an area, especially urban areas, will cause the area to become an attraction or magnet for the surrounding population, come to find work and move to live in urban areas or what we know as urbanization. This high housing need is finally seen by developers or housing developers as a business economic value that has the potential to be even greater in the future so that housing in urban areas can grow and develop. This article will discuss the factors that influence housing needs in West Bandung Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data used are the total population, the number of the workforce, the UMK and also the GRDP in West Bandung Regency. The data has a significant growth every year so that it is the purpose of making this article and it is hoped that it can help readers understand what can affect the need for housing for employees or workers in West Bandung Regency.
