Abstract

The aim of this study is to review the literature about applying innovation of discussion in learning by using Norris-Ennis framework when conducting science online learning class, specially in global warming topic, in junior high school students. As a global issue in online classroom system for used discussion method in learning remote. Although, there are many educational tools available to complement the teaching and learning of science topic in junior high school level. The problem still occurs until present day. One strives that happen in online class it is hard for the teacher to ensure and stimulate all students have great critical thinking skill and eager to involved in discussion activity. However, the issue does not only lie within the students^ level of critical thinking but also the ability for the teacher to make steering question for students. Therefor, the focus of this review is on the critical thinking framework by Norris-Ennis that might help both of teacher and students in conducted effective discussion in teaching process. Supporting this purpose, we are using Wizer platform as a tool for make online discussion in teaching learning process vulnerable.
